Right in the core of Mohican Country lies 1,110 acres of spectacular scenery known as the Mohican State Park. This is a popular tourist site located in Ashland County and is surrounded by the Mohican Memorial State Forest and is easily accessible from Interstate 71.
Visitors are presented with many recreational activities in the Mohican State Park. First in line is, they can go fishing on the Clear Fork Branch of the Mohican River. In addition to this, they can also hike along the trails offered by the park. Numbers of the notable areas of this park include the fire tower, Pleasant Hill Dam, and the Memorial Shrine.
