Hopewell Culture National Historic Park

Situated in Ross County, Ohio is a famous tourist attraction known as Hopewell Culture National Historic Park, previously known as the Mound City Group National Park. This historic attraction is made up of earthworks as well as burial mounds from the Hopewell Culture, part of the ancestral Native Americans’ traditions.

To have a good sense of the area’s significant cultural past, visitors of the park can see its archeological possessions that were there since the beginning of the Hopewell Culture. In addition, they can view the nature’s impressive work of art from the Hopewell Culture, which form geometric shapes such as squares and circles.
