Families who would like to spend a day or two of frolicking in the water will definitely have their fill of splashes and swimming at the Coney Island Water Park, located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Coney Island Water Park features a wide array of facilities for having fun in the water. These include the 200 foot by 401 foot Sunlit Pool, and as the largest recalculating pool in the world. This gigantic pool contains 3 million gallons of water, and has six diving boards and several slides. One of the most sought after slides is The Zoom Flume, a 50-feet tall and 500-feet long twisting and turning slide. In addition, this pool has around an acre of shallow water for kids to swim in. For swimsuits, pool floats, and souvenirs, there is the Island Shop on the pool deck.
For a more private time with loved ones, there are Sunlit Cabanas near the pool, which includes two back-patio armchairs, two chaise lounges, and a cocktail table. This package also includes wait service through which a staff will come to your cabana and take your orders from a special menu. |
